Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves Walkthrough

This is the eighth main quest you will unlock in Genshin Impact, but you will have to finish the previous quest We Will Be Reunited, as well as reach AR 30 before you can proceed with this quest. You should consider doing Daily Commissions or World Quest to quickly increase your AR.

A Path Through the Storm

• Description: Take in the view outside of Liyue Harbor to collect your thoughts. You share your feelings with Paimon before embarking on the next phase of your journey.

The Crux Clash

• Description:  After meeting some of the contestants, you reckon that this will be a milk run. Still, your ticket to Inazuma is at stake here. Best not to let your guard down during the tournament.

A Path Through the Storm

To start this quest, you must first collect your thoughts and process everything after what you just witnessed. Open your map and select the teleport waypoint just outside Liyue Harbor that's also just beside the objective to fast travel. When you reach the waypoint, a dialogue with Paimon will automatically start. You then collect your thoughts and discuss with Paimon what will be your next move. Paimon says that you've already ruled out two gods so far, now you'll suggest to find the Electro Archon. Paimon doesn't think you can simply walk in to Inazuma, because Zhongli said it was a closed nation, you would need find some other way to get in. She then suggests that you ask someone familiar with Inazuma, Atsuko who's currently in Liyue Harbor, she says that Atsuko's from Inazuma.

fter your conversation with Paimon, the game will prompt that you've officially started the quest Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves.

Now go back to Liyue Harbor and follow the yellow icon, it should lead you to Atsuko.

Ask her on how you can travel to Inazuma. She then says that there is a way, but the chance of success is incredibly small. It was when she was leaving Inazuma that she found out how dangerous the method truly was. She also says that she left because everything was too restrictive over at Inazuma. The atmosphere was so stifling, the Kanjou Commission subjects everyone leaving or entering the nation to a protracted approval process. One of the obligations of the Kanjou Commission is to conduct rigorous identity checks on all individuals leaving or entering Inazuma. All non-nationals are processed centrally on Ritou upon arrival. She then explains that there might be someone from The Crux Fleet who might be able to help you get into Inazuma. She then tells you that you must first convince their captain, Beidou.

You should now go to The Alcor and meet with Beidou. Open your map and select the domain at Guyun Stone Forest to fast travel. Once you reach Guyun Stone Forest, follow the yellow icon, it should lead you to The Alcor, you'll see a longship with a carved dragon head mounted on the front of the ship. Glide or swim across to reach the ship. Once you reach the boat, look for Beidou, she should be at the front of the ship.

Once you come up to her, she will immediately recognize you as the traveler who fought against the Fatui and Osial. She said Ningguang told her about a great traveler who has remarkable skills and saved Liyue. She will also introduce to you Kaedehara Kazuha, a temporary addition to her crew, the reasons are left unsaid. She also began to explain the martial arts tournament The Crux Clash. Organizing The Clash is also her way of uncovering hidden talents. She then says that if you win the tournament, you can either get the Masterless Vision, or a ticket to Inazuma aboard The Alcor.

After your conversation with Beidou and Kaedehara Kazuha, you should now head over to the tournament arena. Open your map, and select again the domain located in Guyun Stone Forest to fast travel. After that, continue following the yellow icon, it will be a lengthy trip since there are no nearby teleport waypoints around the objective.

Once you reach the area, you will have to size up the three other competitors. Approach and talk to each one of them.

After sizing up the competitors, talk to Zhuhan, the one in charge of registration for the Crux Clash, follow the yellow icon, she should be just around the arena.

Once you talk to her, you will now sign up for the competition. She will immediately recognize you as the traveler who helped Liyue fight off an ancient god. The other crowd competitors also took notice.

After signing up, Zhuhan will escort you to the arena and your next objective The Crux Clash will begin shortly after.

The Crux Clash

This next objective will immediately start once you Zhuhan escorts you to the arena. On the first round, you will be faced off against Jinyou. During the tournament, you will only be able to use your normal attacks, you are restricted from using your elemental abilities.

After the the first battle, talk to Beidou. She then says that she doesn't want you wasting all your energy in the early rounds fighting people who are well below your level, that's why she'll be putting you straight through the semi-finals.

Now talk to Zhuhan again. After talking to her, you will now enter the first round of the semi-finals, and your opponent is Rongshi, the Dark Horse of the Tournament. Defeat him to advance to the finals.

You'll be talking to Rongshi after you defeat him, he will then congratulate you, and says that he was beaten by the best, and if ever you have the chance in the future, he would love to spar with you again.

After talking to Rongshi, Paimon suggests that you should ask around and see what you can find out about your next opponent in the final round. A yellow icon will be shown on your map, follow it and it should lead you to Uncle Yun.

Uncle Yun tells you that the opponent that beat him is also the one who is advancing to the final round.

After talking to him, continue asking around for more information about your final opponent. The next person you should approach is Liang. He was only able to tell you about how his partner's match went horribly wrong, and he even helped his partner get to a boat to take him back to the harbor but by the time he came back to the arena, he was too late and had to forfeit.

Not having any useful information yet, you should now ask Beidou and Kazuha about your final opponent. Beidou tells you that your next opponent's skill lies in his speed and superior form. Kazuha asks you if you could come with him.

Follow Kazuha outside the arena and talk to him. He then tells you that he's noticed you are skilled in manipulating multiple elements, he then asks if you could enlighten him as to how you managed to obtain your combined elemental abilities, in exchange, he will share with you all that he's learned as well, since he was a wandering samurai back in Inazuma.

Now you should defeat the slimes in the area to show Kazuha your elemental abilities.

After defeating the slimes, go back and talk to Kazuha. He says that your skills are truly beyond reproach and even with your opponent's speed, he shouldn't be able to overwhelm you. He then explains how your opponent is skilled at controlling their breathing and maintaining balance, which enables him to execute moves that many would find impossible.

After talking to Kazuha, your next objective Follow the Wind will begin shortly after.

Follow the Wind

To start this next objective you should go back to the arena and enter the final round.

Beidou introduces the combatants for the final round. Your opponent hasn't arrived yet, and Beidou is wondering what's taking him so long. Kazuha then says that something doesn't feel right, and tells Beidou that she should check on the prize.

Now go and check the box containing the vision.

As suspected, the Vision is missing. Kazuha says that it was his responsibility to look after the prize since he was the one that offered it. Beidou insists on staying in the arena to try and offer some explanation to all the spectators that came to see the match. Kazuha asks you to join him.

Go to the Wind Current location, you'll see a yellow icon prompt on your screen. Ride the Wind Current and go through the rings that'll accelerate you forward to reach the islands ahead.

When you reach the island, follow the yellow icon, it'll lead you to some clues. You'll see something glowing on the ground, go towards it and press interact to investigate, it will trigger another Wind Current.

Ride the Wind Current and continue gliding through the rings to proceed to the next island.

Upon reaching the next island, you will be ambushed by Treasure Hoarders. Defeat the Treasure Hoarders blocking your way.

After defeating them, follow the yellow icon and talk to the Treasure Hoarder who stole the Vision.

The Treasure Hoarder then admits that he's got his eyes on the vision for quite some time now. He heard that the combatants that were participating in the tournament were just a bunch of lousy fighters, and then you showed up. He watched the semi-finals and knew he wouldn't stand a chance, so he just decided to steal the Vision when everyone was distracted.

Kazuha states that according to the laws of the sea, the penalty for stealing is breaking the culprit's arms. Kazuha also says that the item the Treasure Hoarder stole was a prize, and that he didn't show up at the final match as well as damaged the reputation of the captain of The Crux Fleet. He added that it would only be fair to brand the word "thief" on the Treasure Hoarder's forehead using a hot iron.

Upon hearing the punishment, the Treasure Hoarder just decided to fight. Now defeat this Treasure Hoarder to advance.

After defeating him, he begs you both not to brand his forehead. Kazuha changed his mind and decided that no punishment will be given to the thief as long as he hands over the Vision. He hands over the Vision and leaves.

Paimon then asks what was the story behind this Vision. Kazuha then begins to tell the story. After telling you the story, he says that it's time for you to go back to the arena.

When you've reached the arena, Zhuhan will tell you that Beidou was summoned by Ningguang. Apparently, The Crux Clash got out of hand this time and attracted Ningguang's attention. Zhuhan says that she heard Beidou muttering something about Ningguang as she headed for Liyue Harbor.

After talking to Zhuhan and Kazuha, the game will prompt that you've officially finished the quest Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves.

The next main quest after this is called The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia.
