Boss Type Normal Boss

Golden Wolflord is a Boss in Genshin Impact. Bosses are special enemies that are typically stronger than your average enemies and elite enemies. They usually have their own location or arena within the game. Bosses provide better rewards than normal enemies, but you will need to spend a certain amount of Original Resin to claim them. There are some bosses that won't require you to spend resin, as you will encounter some of them through the Archon Quests. Event Bosses also won't require you to spend any resin to claim its rewards.

When fighting bosses, it is important to be prepared and smart in choosing the right characters for the fight, some bosses are immune to certain elemental reactions, and it would be a waste if you were to pick your main DPS character to have the same elemental strength as the boss.

A twisted beast from another world.
This creature is the ruler of the Riftwolves, and wields the power to command them to dissolve space itself.

Attacks & Counters

Attack Counter
Phase 1
Scream Beam   A linear attack. An elemental beam shoots from its mouth, but only in a narrow linear direction. This sweeps slightly. Keep away from the direction it is facing to avoid damage from this attack. It is possible to dash through the beam to avoid damage, or even more effective dash towards the boss and throw in some hits.
Tail Whip As the boss spirals upwards, you will be able to predict the tail whip. Avoid this radius to avoid damage once you notice this action.
Tornado This tornado slowly forms giving you enough time to avoid being stuck in range. Don't leave too far as the boss may despawn. It is better to keep a distance away from damage but let the attack play through since following this attack is a long cooldown, allowing you to deal more uninterrupted damage.
Rifthound Skulls These wolf head skulls will form and have a homing mechanic that may follow you till they are close enough and dive. Anticipate their movement and dash away.
Earthquake Once he dives up out of the screen, and a circle radius appears on the ground, expect the boss to dive back down, creating a tremor within the radius. This will follow ith some aftershocks also indicated by a few glowing radius circles. Find an empty spot to avoid being affected.
Dive and dash The boss swoops down at ground level and dashes, but will be hard to predict its pattern. Try to dash away as best as you can.
Phase 2
Black Rifthound Skulls Phase two commences once the boss reaches a little below half health. You'll also notice a second white bar just below his HP bar which now represents its shield. During this phase the three skulls will make their landings at the edge of the arena.

Use Geo attacks on the Riftound Skills to destroy the Golden Wolflord's shield faster.

Take them down with 3 Geo hits. When all three are destroyed, this leave players will a long cooldown period and they are free to deal some back to back strikes before the transition to the next attack.
Homing Orb These are slow moving orbs that can happen whilst other attacks are going on. They move slowly and follow you around the arena, just pay attention and avoid them during combat.
