Boss Type Normal Boss

Rhodeia of Loch is a Boss in Genshin Impact. Bosses are special enemies that are typically stronger than your average enemies and elite enemies. They usually have their own location or arena within the game. Bosses provide better rewards than normal enemies, but you will need to spend a certain amount of Original Resin to claim them. There are some bosses that won't require you to spend resin, as you will encounter some of them through the Archon Quests. Event Bosses also won't require you to spend any resin to claim its rewards.

When fighting bosses, it is important to be prepared and smart in choosing the right characters for the fight, some bosses are immune to certain elemental reactions, and it would be a waste if you were to pick your main DPS character to have the same elemental strength as the boss.

A life-form created from condensed Hydro elements of incredible purity.
Often attached to bodies of water. It is said that as water bodies becomes purer, the Hydro elements within grow more abundant, causing the Oceanids to grow more powerful.
It is also said by some that Oceanids were once sea creatures from a home far away who carried the fragments of a long-dead god to the many corners of this world. Perhaps they did this so that the love their god held for this world could be spread through the waters to all the land...

Rhodeia of Loch Strategies

Strategy Writeup

For this boss fight, notable features including boss healing and a time limit when encountering this boss. Since it is a hydro creature, its best to use other elements to combat this boss. It is recommended tp use a character with range since a lot of the summons attacks will be safer to face at a distance. Attacking each summon will slowly deplete the boss HP. There will be lot of summons or water illusions that appear and disappear and you have to clear the fights to win.

A note to keep in mind is that you cannot take your time defeating each wave of summons. At a certain time the oceanid will come and defeat you itself if you haven't already cleared the new forms in time.

Attacks & Counters

Attack Counter
Phase 1
Double Boat Pigs  When these animals first appear the game will refer to them as Water illusions. They each dash forward one at a time. They have a slow prep for this move and slowly walk toward the direction they're about to dash in giving the player enough time to prepare which way to dash away.
Double Crab They release a spray of mini  bubbles and usually attempt to corner you, all you have to do is keep moving back away from their spray.
Frog form This frog form starts with a few hops forward and has two main moves. It can stomp its foot and send a linear wave attack that is easy to avoid but also but has a few sizes of blast explosion range too. As soon as you notice any water absorption, gain as much distance away as you can. This is the prep animation for the blast with a large explosion radius.
Sparrow Similar to the frog, it hops forward and has a explosive range.
Double Squirrels This form is manageable and quite slow. They slowly walk towards you and do a pouce accompanies with a hydro tail swipe. You can easily do some ranged attacks after putting some distance in between you and the enemy.
Cranes These cranes send out a directional wave with the flap of its wings and can quickly fly back a step away from you.

Phase 2
Double Duck At this stage, some of these forms will consider which each other so these ducks may form in addition to the double hawks. The ducks are will be the more manageable form of the two. They waddle slowly in the direction of the player with a ring of damaging waves. Once they are close enough they do a small pounce or flap and have no additional moves. This will allow you to focus on other forms that appear.
Double/Triple Hawk This aerial forms do a dive attack that swoops down in a slash. These happen very quick so prepare to dash away.
