Fellflower is a Boss in Genshin Impact. Bosses are special enemies that are typically stronger than your average enemies and elite enemies. They usually have their own location or arena within the game. Bosses provide better rewards than normal enemies, but you will need to spend a certain amount of Original Resin to claim them. There are some bosses that won't require you to spend resin, as you will encounter some of them through the Archon Quests. Event Bosses also won't require you to spend any resin to claim its rewards.
When fighting bosses, it is important to be prepared and smart in choosing the right characters for the fight, some bosses are immune to certain elemental reactions, and it would be a waste if you were to pick your main DPS character to have the same elemental strength as the boss.
Having absorbed the blood of the wicked dragon, this Whopperflower has undergone immense changes. Handle with care!

Fellflower Strategies
Strategy Writeup
The Fellflower is a mutated Cryo Whopperflower so it centers on the Cryo element. Because of its cryo abilities it is recommended to use a pyro character or at least have a pyro character on your team to face this boss. It is also a good idea to consider having a ranged character in your build for the times you may need to keep a distance.
This will have a shield on it. You will have to destroy the shield first. It's Shield bar will be shown below its HP Bar. The different stats depending of the shield is still running are shown below. Destoy the shield and phase 2 will commence.
Shielded - Unshielded Stats
- Physical - 210% - 30%
- Pyro - 210% - 10%
- Cryo - 270% - 70 %
- Electro - 210% - 10%
- Anemo - 210% - 10%
- Geo - 210% - 10%
- Hydro - 210% - 10%
Combat Prompts:
- Destroy the Fellflower's Arcane Fruits.
- Pick up the Fellflower's Arcane Essenece to prevent its shield from regnerating
Rise of the Fellflower Challenges:
Having absorbed the blood of the wicked dragon, this Whopperflower has undergone immense changes. Handle with care!
- Defeat the Fellflower without being hit by its subterranean attack
- Destroy all Arcane Fruits and defeat the Fellflower
- When the Fellflower activates its snowball attack, use Arcane Fruits to interrupt that attack and defeat the Fellflower
- Defeat 4 monsters created by the Arcane Fruits in total
- Defeat the Fellflower without allowing it to absorb any Arcane Essence at all

| Phase 1 | |
| Triple Snowball Roll | The Fellflower releases three giant snowballs rolling in your general direction. The best way to avoid this is to find the gabs in between the rolling snowballs. |
| Snowball Projectile | If you notice a few snowballs by the Fellflower's side, these snowballs may be other in preparation for tossing. The fellflower will toss these snowballs one by one and back to back, each time aiming for your general location. The landing area for these locations are usually shown with the circle indicators on the ground so you can check where to avoid. |
| Spin | Takes its petals and does a Spin, damaging those in the area. As you notice the petals fan out and descend, back away immediately |
| Arcane Fruits | These are hovering pieces throughout the arena. If using a ranged character, you can shoot these to attack and stun the boss. If without a ranged character, you may have to wait till these fruits are in range. |
| Arcane Essence | Be sure to collect these. Failing to do so will allow the boss to regenerate its sheilds. |
| Cryo Slime | These enemy creatures will appear on the arena alongside an Arcane Fruit. Clear them then destroy the fruit. |
| Phase 2 | |
| Bullets | The Fellflower in its new state, takes its head down and shoots bullets from he center of its head. Keep running around circling around he fellfllower to avoid getting shot. |
| Spin | The spin attack now does an extra layer of DMG around him. Since the fellflower is smaller in diameter, it absorbs surrounding energy just as this attack occurs and extends the AoE |
| Projectile Snowballs |
The boss shoots more projectiles from the top of its head. They move slowly and will easily miss as long as the player keeps moving. |
| Underground (Subterranean Attack) |
The Fellflower submerges in the ground and reimerges after repositioning. The area of its new location will also cause damage if within range as it emerges. An icy radius is indicated on the ground just before the Fellflower lifts so it will give a chance for players to gain some distance away from its new location. |
