Maguu Kenki is a Boss in Genshin Impact. Bosses are special enemies that are typically stronger than your average enemies and elite enemies. They usually have their own location or arena within the game. Bosses provide better rewards than normal enemies, but you will need to spend a certain amount of Original Resin to claim them. There are some bosses that won't require you to spend resin, as you will encounter some of them through the Archon Quests. Event Bosses also won't require you to spend any resin to claim its rewards.
When fighting bosses, it is important to be prepared and smart in choosing the right characters for the fight, some bosses are immune to certain elemental reactions, and it would be a waste if you were to pick your main DPS character to have the same elemental strength as the boss.

Doesn't seem to have the ability nor will to speak, but instead only seeks to communicate with crossed swords.
It is said that this machine was made using the memories of the first-generation master of a certain sword school. However, it malfunctioned, lost control, and was ultimately discarded.
Some sing that the machine's spirit still lingers in the place where its fate was ended. They also say that the vicious mask that serves as its guard was inspired by a famous oni from that era.

You will first find this boss seated, and while he is in this position, he will not be affected by any attacks. However, at this point you can still inflict elements and gain energy particles. He goes through 2 phases. Clear them to defeat this boss.
- Physical - 10%
- Pyro - 10%
- Cryo - 10%
- Electro - 10%
- Anemo -10%
- Geo - 10%
- Hydro - 10%
For extra rewards during the Midsummer Island Adventure event, defeat him 2 - 3 times. or Defeat it without being hit by its phantom's attacks or mask attacks. One reward requirement also states that 'long range attacks can trigger the boss's mask parry -- defeat it without triggering this parry.

| Mask Attack | This attack is easy to recognize. He forms a mask in front of him before forcing it to dash forward. It dashes in one linear direction, so just move off to the side to avoid. |
| Spin Slash | AoE attack that affects a radius around the boss, making a sweeping motion. Back away from him to steer clear of the area of effect. |

| Dual Swords | As it transitions to phase 2 at around the 75% health mark, you will see him raise his double swords and plunge it into the ground dealing a larger AoE damage. Like this spin slash, back away from him to stay out of this range. |
| Phantom echo | These attacks will be similar to phase one, but with a phantom echo mimicking the effeets after they are completed. This could be stacked on him creating a second large radius slash in addition to the original Spin slash or it could separate completely and create a spin slash from a different area. If you see them separate head back towards the original boss but keep away form his AoE. Stay away from both AoE to avoid damage. Follow up these attacks by dealing some attacks of your own when you find an opening. |
| Slash Gust | This is a projectile attack that follows through after the boss or the phantom copy makes a slash action. Gusts from the slash will continue forward. He can deal more than one back to back. These don't come out too quickly and will give you enough time to side step or run in a safer position. |
