Jadeplume Terrorshroom is a Boss in Genshin Impact. Bosses are special enemies that are typically stronger than your average enemies and elite enemies. They usually have their own location or arena within the game. Bosses provide better rewards than normal enemies, but you will need to spend a certain amount of Original Resin to claim them. There are some bosses that won't require you to spend resin, as you will encounter some of them through the Archon Quests. Event Bosses also won't require you to spend any resin to claim its rewards.
When fighting bosses, it is important to be prepared and smart in choosing the right characters for the fight, some bosses are immune to certain elemental reactions, and it would be a waste if you were to pick your main DPS character to have the same elemental strength as the boss.
Over many long years, this large fungal beast has morphed into a unique form.
Its intelligence has already reached and perhaps has even surpassed real animals, and it will actively hunt prey to obtain sustenance. Its tail has a lovely jade plumage that seems very similar to that of the ancient sacred beast that the Spantamad school reveres. As far as the logic of mimesis is concerned, it seems quite likely that the two beings once walked the earth together.

Jadeplume Terrorshroom Strategies
Strategy Writeup
Do not use Pyro against this boss. It may seem beneficial initially, as the target has a Dendro aura, and will trigger Burning if interacted with Pyro. However, upon activating the Burning reaction, the boss will spawn green egg-shaped balls that will break and become Floating Dendro Fungi, which are very hard to hit and use projectile attacks.
Always stay in melee range when the boss is not using it's large AoE, as the ranged attacks will never be able hit you. Make sure you dodge the close range attacks the boss does as well.
Throughout the fight, find time between its attacks to land some poke damage as the boss doesn't have much health. Alternatively, feed the boss Electro attacks and Quicken, Aggravate, or Spread to fill its rage bar. Doing so will unleash one of it's unique attacks, but will also stun the boss for approximately 15 seconds afterwards, allowing you to do a full combo with your party.
Attacks & Counters
Attack | Counter |
No Rage Bar | |
Rage Bar | Throughout the fight, the boss will gain Rage from taking Electro attacks and Quicken, Aggravate, or Spread reactions. When this bar fills, the boss will use one of 3 unique rage abilities, then become stunned for about 15 seconds, and take 25% more damage from all sources. |
Basic Melee Combo | The boss has a basic 3 step melee combo. It will start by doing a beak swipe to its right, then slam its beak into the ground, then jump up and slam into the ground, dealing AoE Dendro DMG. |
Missile Flurry | Launches 2 sets of Dendro projectiles at the player |
Dendro Explosion | Launches 3 spores into the air, which land and explode, dealing AoE Dendro DMG |
Counter Burning | If you inflict the boss with Burning by inflicting it with Pyro and Dendro, it will spawn green egg-shaped balls that will break and become Floating Dendro Fungi. A maximum of 4 of these can be on the field at once |
Rage Bar Filled | |
Homing Dendro Missiles | Launches multiple spores into the air which track you, and deal Dendro DMG on impact. |
Quicken Charge | The boss Quickens itself, and runs in straight line towards the player 2 times, dealing a large amount of Dendro DMG on hit. |
Reckless Flurry | Randomly swings its beak around in a large area 4 times, dealing a large amount of Dendro DMG on hit. |
